| dc.description | This package contains an Icelandic-English/English-Icelandic glossary. The glossary contains 232.950 Icelandic-English pairs. As some lexical items have multiple translations in the other language the collection contains 105.442 different Icelandic items, of which 84.812 are single words and 20.630 multiword units, and 116.744 different English lexical items, of which 45.147 are unique English words and 71.597 multiword units. The glossary was built using automatic and manual methods. Automatic methods were used to build a candidate list, which was manually checked by human annotators or compared to available manually curated Icelandic-English/English-Icelandic dictionaries and word lists. -------------- Pakkinn inniheldur íslensk-enskan/ensk-íslenskan orðalista. Orðalistinn inniheldur 232.950 íslensk-ensk pör. Þar sem sumar flettur hafa fleiri en eina þýðingu inniheldur pakkinn 105.442 mismunandi íslenskar flettur, þar af 84.812 stök orð og 20.630 fleiryrtar flettur, og 116.744 mismunandi enskar flettur, þar af 45.147 stök orð og 71.597 fleiryrtar flettur. Orðalistinn var settur saman með sjálfvirkum aðferðum og svo yfirfarinn. Sjálfvirku aðferðirnar voru notaðar til að smíða tillögulista, þær tillögur voru samþykktar sem fundust í eldri handgerðum orðalistum, en farið handvirkt yfir annað. |
